Wouldn’t have called them the fan favorites, myself. People were definitely rooting for MTN to be a single, but the Born This Way era and Gaga's momentum overall back then had just burned out. derpmonster 22,412
Hopefully not. it's a great song but not single or radio material. Very much like Scheisse in that regard Check out iTunes data & graphs at CHARTPOP.live
hijadeputa 3,936
I like Alice so much but Idk there is something about the song
crybrowz 3,247
It should have been the lead. I don't know how Interscope let it get away. It is the classic weird yet catchy Gaga formula that she is known for, and it is short + commercial enough to do well on the charts. I think it could have been one of her signature hits had it gotten proper promotion and a good video. I think a video with this sort of aesthetic could have been iconic. SL would have been cute as an album track but was definitely not lead single worthy. All things considered it is quite forgettable, while Alice is memorable. Unfortunately though I think it's too late for Alice to have a chance at being a hit. RIP to what could have been
Riri 272
I don’t really see Alice being a single, even though I really like the song. I personally think there are more single-worthy songs on the album such as Sour Candy and Babylon. I also think Fun Tonight will do well on the radio, so that could be a single as well imo. I don’t really understand why so many people dislike the song.
theduy0312 100
I don't think so. It should have been the lead instead of Stupid Flop. At this point I think Interscope would go with Sour Candy, 911 or Sine from Above. I still hope it will become a single and slay the world.
