Fatigay 21,075
Soooooo I hesitated posting this for a few reasons but here we go! Little background story here: Spoiler 2 weeks ago I stumbled on a tumblr post of a short stop motion clip of statues “dancing” to a club song. It was pretty good and I looked up the original artist who made the full-length video. Her name is Nina Paley. The video is here, titled conveniently “All creative work is derivative” So I had an idea, and decided to give it a go... However I don’t feel super comfortable sharing this because after looking her up, I found her on Twitter. She’s a J.K. R*wling apologist and thinks the same way as her about trans people, which disgusted me. So since all creative work is derivative, think of this as a new piece, as if it was Gaga’s. and let me know what you think, took me a while to make this haha
Wet Fire 7,825
You got the best idea. The video looks amazing with Babylon. The inclusion of sculptures really works. I love Nina Paley's works. I saw her Sita Sings the Blues and fell in love with her. But the J. K. Rowling apologist stance is really saddening.
