Think about all the Gaga fans who are black and in the United States dealing with the movement and fighting for their equality. They and many of their allies are out protesting for many days and also aren’t able to enjoy the era. It is a privilege to be able to shut out life and dance and bop to Chromatica. Gaga is showing true empathy and understanding. She already donated likely hella money to the cause and amplified black voices on her social media platforms. I feel lucky I've been able to tell her that face to face a couple of times and let me tell you when she says 'you too' it boosts my self esteem 100x and I actually don't hate myself for a moment, even if I know I look like a troll and can't match her kindness at all.
