MTV and Music Channel are supporting her like crazy. Rain On Me has been #1 on Music Channel's "Power Play's" chart, the most aired songs of the week, for 2 consecutive weeks. It's getting played like 4-5 times a day. The fact that Rain On Me debuted at #84 based solely on TV is impressive. During that week, it was above songs like NK's Elefante and Maejor's I Love You, which get radio play from big stations. Songs that only get played on TV, with no radio, never get past the #90's range, let alone debut at #84. And yes, these are all low positions, but if you're not Rihanna, P!nk, Jason Derulo, Dua Lipa or Justin Bieber, you won't get hits here! International artists are very often paid dust. Even Ariana received a similar treatment. No Tears Left to Cry was an international hit, Top 10s everywhere, but no station touched the song here. Wow Radio 21 gave it 2 spins, I'm blown away already, I mostly talk about Kiss FM and Radio ZU since they are the biggest radio stations here, beside this KISS TV and UTV seems to not give a f*ck about her either. We shouldn't even discuss about Kiss TV in the first place. They are the most popular music TV station, but the most useless as well. Their playlist gets update ONCE 3 months. That's four updates in an entire calendar year. Other stations get weekly or monthly playlist updates. Topic's Breaking Me has been literally #1 of 3 weeks, and it's nowhere to be seen. Neither are songs like Pedro Capo's Buena Suerte, Shakira's Me Gusta, The Weeknd's Blinding Lights, and so on. It's just hilarious. Post Malone's Circles peaked at #10 and never got added in the playlist as well. They simply have the power to choose what to promote, and there's nothing to be done about it.
