Sis it was certified Platinum in 2017 And I think it’s fair to use SPS to complete for certifications for old albums, they reflect the way the album has continued to be consumed in the streaming era. Plus even in the digital singles era album sales started to plummet so including single sales to album certifications give an idea of how the album would’ve sold in the pure albums era. A lot of promo simple isn't effective enough anymore, and there's no SNL or award show coming up. A commercial would be good. This is probably just its natural chart run happening in the US now. It'll probably stablize lower on Spotify/AM. Songs like ROM won't do well on an urban platform but yes it is dropping on streaming I agree. What about if Chromatica only scans 1x platinum . It'll be the same as ARTPOP which was seen as a flop at the time. Yet ARTPOP has a lot more pure sales thanks to coming out a lot earlier.
