My Chromatica & Gaga hype is going downhill

Ok, we're having great marketing products and everything, and we're in the middle of a pandemic, but where is the promo? the only news I see are more releases of 60$ t-shirts or rain boots, or chokers now, and yes it was funny in the beginning with the jockstrap and blah blah, but where's the tour delay announcement with millions of dollars on hold? where is she and her team renting a studio and i don't know, even if she just performs alone, or whatever, then sends it to tv shows/connects live like she would do in a normal tv studio after an interview that she can do by videocall like the 2-3 that we've got in... months?

she's released a good album and i feel like she doesn't even care that much anymore, the general public is not really eating it, don't fool yourself, it made a bit of noise but it's gonna vanish if she doesn't start NOW to do something else than releasing things that only fans will buy, especially outside of the US with huge shipping expenses... plus that it will be useless for promo since the stuff won't be sent until 2-3 months pass by to people to then wear it. what's the point then lol, how are you gonna promote anything by then?

i don't know, don't  take me wrong, it's not that i want to put her down, this is just me genuinely caring since it looks like she's really put a lot of her mental state on this and they've been guarding it so well for now just letting it go, while being a good and solid album. it's sad.

I think the album is carrying itself. Once you forget about the charts and the success, you tend to just stop crying and enjoy the iconic album.

it's not crying, you can try to be shady and funny but it will be less funny if after going #2 at the second week it drops to 16, and then more down, and then the label will give her less money for the videoclips, and then we'll get less singles, and then her plans could go to the trashcan as it exactly happened with ARTPOP, and then, next year, after a huge delay, they'll cut on the tour and its production; and that if she doesn't cancel it if people lose excitement over 200$ tickets a year after, once they're bored of the album. but thanks for trying explaining us your personal tendency, glad that it is enough for you! sadly, labels don't work over people crying or not crying, or enjoying the streams, or on people buying a choker.

It's normal it's been 20 days since the release and she didn't say a word

But I think she will be back this week

can't see anything on her page, or the official event of the paris date, or any mail/anything. but anyway, my point is still the same; no promo on the mainstream media, i don't understand those movements

In my opinion, the way Gaga is handling the situation now is very appropriate.

The album is not flopping, her numbers are impressive and once she restarts promoting it the upcoming weeks, the hype will be back.

The fans are still thirsty for more Chromatica material and she can share with us when the situation gets a little bit better.

New merch is part of it and a sign that she may be back real soon.

I remember this threads being made before the album date announcement, and then being made before ROM’s announcement.

This fanbase literally has 0 patience.

If these last 2 weeks are an indicator of how the rest of the era is going to go, then it isn't very good indeed. But I think it's no indicator at all and that promo was just halted because of BLM and that she's going to resume the promo and era more or less now.

If this is (hopefully the case), this pause (once again) was actually good:
-because the album was already selling GREAT these 2 weeks with no major promo ever since a few days after release
- to let the music speak for itself at first (for the fans)
- to spread out the promo even more, which will be necessary if she wants to spread the era itself out, needed because of the whole corona crisis. We're still hoping for TCB Summer 2021 as well, so she needs to keep the era alive to at least then.
