We love believing fake accusations cause you don't know how to use google (it's free btw)...

Also, she's been trolling for years ummm

reputable news outlets were beginning to report it when i googled the story.

i feel horrible (and also surprised, because i did go to some trouble to check and corroborate these claims from some other source), but, also, i think we should really be tough on sites like XXL that published news articles about this without any proper research, etc.

The bad thing was that she took 4-5 days to respond to claims (I assume she knew it was all made up so didn't feel the need) meaning articles just went with it, now that she shed light on it some people are still asking her to apologise cause her apology wasn't shared nearly the same amount of times as the accusations

i feel like THAT is the most problematic thing.

especially in rap, media outlets are so quick to respond to stories that supposedly reveal a famous black woman acting politically problematic, but they won't even necessarily follow-up on the story when there's a correction (and perhaps apology) to be made.

has there been any reporting on where these rumors started, and what people or organizations promoted their spread online? seems like it might be a coordinated take-down of her bc of her race

Hasn't she apologized like 5 times tho?

This was proven false, y'all still tryna cancel her over false allegations but y'all won't cancel 6ix9ine

The delusion. 6ix9ine is literally dragged every single time a thread about him pops up. Hell, Nicki is the one who seems uncancellable even though she collaborates with that trash often.

Also, just curious what does "this" in your sentence refer to? If it's about Doja a lot of the allegations aren't true. But she also did say some insensitive stuff in the past.

Regardless. She has apologized and people should focus their energy on actual issues in the world. Like police brutality, wealth inequality etc. the upcoming US elections for example is a good place to start for American Monsters.
