For me, the two songs that I “expected” the album to sound like are Alice and 911. Dark, synth-heavy, robotic. They’re the two songs that match up with the imagery the best, in my opinion. I definitely expected more...massive choruses and relentless-type songs, but I guess she can’t make Born This Way over and over. I’ll admit, Chromatica was a let down at first but it’s grown like a weed. It’s still no Born This Way, but it’s probably her third (tied with ARTPOP) best album. Born This Way, TFM and Chromatica/ARTPOP. ARTPOP has higher highs, but Chromatica is a better full listen. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
