Ask them, they'll say they don't. Then, sing the "when iiiii bow dowwwwn to pray...." they'll know it :vegas:

:ladyhaha:

I could be wrong but sadly I don't think they would, I don't live in the US, people didn't necessarily see the 9205829 performances of the song :ally:

Tier 3 (Minor Hits): LoveGame

It was a Pop radio #1 and a Hot 100 Top 5 hit  :wtf:  Should be considered a "moderate hit" at least.   (Unless we're talking "worldwide" of course)

Born This Way

Big D*ck Energy Tier:
Paparazzi
Telephone
The Edge Of Glory
Applause
Million Reasons
Alejandro

She's Present Tier:
Stupid Love
Do What U Want
LoveGame
Judas
You And I
Always Remember Us This Way

Don't Wanna Sit With Them Tier:
Perfect Illusion
Marry The Night
G.U.Y.
The Cure
John Wayne
Joanne
Till It Happens To You

Agree aside from LoveGame. People *still* refer to the discostick line. That's impact. I'd say it's lower rung of the BDE tier, but definitely in there and not among the ranks of DWUW or Judas in terms of impact.

flavor of love wtf GIF

You and I spent WAY more weeks in the top 20, had higher peaks worldwide as well.

it's also 2 spots higher than Million Reasons on the Billboard Career History list.

You and I is undoubtedly bigger. The better song won.

And this is including the fact that one was promoted at the super bowl when it peaked and still isn't as big :vegas:

Most people in the US only saw the Super Bowl performance. The majority of the televised MR performances happened over seas.

Unfortunately I think it gets overshadowed by Just Dance, Poker Face, and Paparazzi so that’s why I ranked it lower.

You and I peaked at #6 on BBH100, MR peaked at #4. MR has more streams, a Grammy nomination, and sold more. MR video has 228 million views, You and I has 151 million and it was released at a career high. MR is a bigger hit.

No Karaoke machines in my country and my section in Asia has LoveGame :selena: That's where I based the public familiarity line :messga:

Inside, we are really made the same. 🕊

:vegas: MR has much more name recognition as well, I don’t imagine any causal fan that I know immediately recognizing Yoü and i

what do Grammy nominations have to do with how big a song is.

also You And I was released before the streaming era :vegas:

Ok fine, what about MR's higher BBH100 peak, more youtube views, higher sales, and better reception?

Exactly, so you’d rather expect it to have, say, a higher position on Gaga’s career history for Billboard in the area of sales, wouldn’t you ? You used this same line of logic

edit: and Paparazzi has less streams than The Cure, next you’ll be telling me it’s not as big as The Cure

MR peaked for one week in the top 20 after being performed at the Super Bowl. then quickly dropped out of the charts.

Show me stats that say MR sold more WW and in the US.

and again reception means little to nothing success wise. My favs best received single charted at #20. that doesn't mean anything.

and fine MR got a few million more youtube views. it wins at that.

No. it's not about sales, it's about CHART HISTORY which takes streaming into account.

and you're proving my point sweetie that You and I was bigger.
