Massive Monster 5,020
I prefer Sexxx Dreams and here's why: That loud in-your-face 80s synth chorus and the bass guitar. The unforgettable line: "when I lay in bed I touch myself when I think of you". The epic different instrumentation and feel between the verses and chorus: The verses are dark, dreamy, talkative, victim, confused. The chorus is proud, dominant and stomping. Judas is a pale and cheap copy of Bad Romance (to me it feels lazy). The wobbly synth bass sounds overused and too familiar. The religious lyrics scream desperate controversy without substance. The video is epic though and I can still enjoy the song itself. Kind regards
Lucas 27,133
Judas is the only right answer here.

Some of the references to Bible stories don't even mean what she seems to think they mean... it's a fine song and I really like it but I don't get why people on here go crazy for it tbh, change my mind heauxs Don't Call Me Gaga

But yeah 2 things I don't like are the instrumentation and the way the bible references seem to be more concerned with controversy than deeper meaning. I think I could have enjoyed the song a lot more if Gaga was comparing herself to Judas, someone who is hated and synonym of traitor, it would have fitted the context perfectly because a lot of people hated her and still do. She could even have added a gay reference to it and made it about homophobia in a way. Instead the theme was "always going for the bad guy". Which we had seen before. It feels so common that the Biblical controversy outshines the story. Kind regards
