She & her collaborators have great taste (self-titled & Lemonade were top tier work). I feel like every time a big female musician is even mentioned in the same breath with a comic book franchise, the franchise's male stans go nuts & make these petitions. She was only rumoured (key word here) to do the soundtrack, so they're being extra for no reason. Plus, would Bey in a role be so bad? It's not like Marvel movies have challenging dialog. Its not halle's fault that the screen writers didnt stick to the goddess-like essensce of storm in the early xmen movies .she did her job perfectly.
