Gimme More 35,802
The UK has recorded its lowest daily death toll since before lockdown, with 36 recorded deaths as of 5pm yesterday. The last time the daily tally was lower was on March 21 when 35 deaths were confirmed, two days before the Prime Minister enforced a nationwide lockdown. Across all settings, including hospitals, care homes and the wider community, 41,698 people have now died after testing positive for coronavirus as of 5pm on Saturday. It comes as Boris Johnson announced "probably" fewer than one in 1,000 people now have the coronavirus, meaning the chances of coming in contact with someone who was infected were increasingly remote. Zander 14,944
It’s good news but it’s a weekend and the toll is always a lot lower because of a delay. Its been around 200 still during the week.

Lampost 760
It's a Sunday tho, always low death counts. There's always a delay in recorded deaths during the weekend.
Chris Thomason 1,036
The real telling statistic will be how low these deaths and case numbers will be in a couple of weeks...
