Just because you like the song so much doesn’t mean it would be a great single choice. It’s catchy and maybe in Europe it could be a cute hit but thats it. Rain On Me and Sour Candy are the best choices.

Who cares about radio. And I don't see how this is not radio material, if radio can adapt to mumble rappers and other kinds of weird **** they can adapt to Alice, a basic pop club song trust me

Alice could be a huge hit if she releases it as a single in Europe like she did with Always Remember Us This Way, right? Gaga has always been bigger in Europe than in the US, she can release anything and it would be a hit. so, if you add that beautiful 90s eurodance vibe that Alice has, it would destroy the european charts and other charts as well.

Poker Face, Bad Romance, and Applause didn't sound like anything on the radio when they were released, and they were all hits. 

I do hope Alice at least gets a video. It's one of my new favorite Gaga songs. My all-time faves of hers are now Marry The Night + Diamond Heart + Alice (and I guess it's coincidence that they're all the first song -- vocal song, for Alice -- on their respective albums). 

Girl Applause was one of the safest single choices out of any of the songs on ARTPOP.

She is not in her imperial phase anymore and cannot dictate how radio treats the sound. We've seen real hesitation from them lately.

I have to agree with the MTN love though. Should've been lead single.

Alice maybe had a sliver of a chance in 2015/early 16 when house pop was a thing and even then it's a stretch.

The music is too out there to be considered radio friendly.

Would it go #1 on the Danceclub charts? Yes. But then so did Til It Happens To You.

Or Scheisse. The amount of justifications they'd come up with. "Do a radio edit without the gibberish intro" - take out one of the best parts of the song? No ma'am.

GGD locals have no sense of what single material means and it's true. And that's okay because you really have to be familiar with all music and pop music and looking at what radio is playing and what it's not playing to get it but let's not pretend her team is THAT dumb. They've made questionable choices but they're not Stupid (Love).
