I know my opinion on it is pretty unpopular, but it's honestly my favourite Madonna album. I even dare to say it's in my Top 5 albums of all time. I love every single thing about this album and era I have so many memories with it Here is explain more why it's my favourite Madonna album! Can’t believe it’s been a year already. It’s a beautiful record start to finish. I absolutely love it and place it as one of my faves, top 3 for sure. It truly has Madonna written all over it, and it couldn’t be more her. Experimental, infused with different musical influences, new sonorities, unconventional song structures, outstanding visuals - it’s all there, almost 40 years after the start of her career. I would say it’s quite a divisive record, but reviews were consistently positive. Not that it matters really, but it got a solid 70 on Metacritic, which is very good for someone’s 14th record album. A lot of the messages of the record couldn’t be more relatable to all that’s going on in the world right now. ”The storm isn’t in the air. It’s inside of us.”
imnotyourbabe10 6,081
Love the diversity of this album. Extreme Occident is my fav but also really enjoy: Crazy; Bitch I'm Loca (no clue why, it's kind of basic but catchy lol), I Don't Search I Find; Crave. Was a much needed record amidst the music norms this last year.

Brecht 7
It was a very ambitious project that proved Madonna still has the fire in her. Probably her most creative ever. Visually stunning also. The songs? To me they are ruined by bad choices like ugly autotune and unnecessary repetition. I don’t listen to a single song from that album a year later. March34th 1,973
i loved this album so much and it was my first era as a proper stan i still remember the adrenaline rush when she posted the red "X" photoset on her instagram to tease the start of the era, then the collapse that the teaser film was When Medellin dropped i lost my MINDDDD it's not my favourite style of music, but its a lovely song. Madame X throws me right back to the early summer of last year, it's such a cozy feeling when I listen to it now. I love how albums and collective pieces of artwork can have that effect on people
Musicisfreedom 5,837
One of my favorite albums ever, period. At least top five for Madonna albums. Right up there with Ray of Light, American Life, Confessions, Erotica... I don't hate any Madonna album, I love them all for what they offer, but Madame X is truly an experience. And seeing her live (TWICE) made the era even more amazing. Still play the album at least every week, and it still sounds as fresh and interesting as it did a year ago. One thing that I truly love and adore about Madonna is that her "best" albums are scattered throughout her career. I could say every decade she has released at least one album that is top tier Madonna. Bitch I'm Madonna
LG666 1,930
I thought the album was okay until I saw her Madame X show. I was mesmerized and my mind was blown away. The album is meant to be performed as a theatrical act. This album is incredible in its vision and all the visual language behind it. It's very fascinating too. In my opinion, it's her most experimental and political album since American Life. This album is a GEM and is under-appreciated. A cult classic amongst Madonna fans. It was my first era as a stan too and I lost it when she started teasing with the “X” on Instagram It was such a fun era and I have many good memories with it. I loved how frequently she released a song or a music video. Every single photoshoot looked amazing and had a clear aesthetic. Oh and I adore the little documentary and of course I loved the album and had it on repeat for so long. Really miss those times What you want Lady Gaga🥂 What you want with Christina🥂

So basically all the top 5 albums you mentioned nnnn. I love how they are all so different and unique. Not a lot of artists are able to pull that off.
