S0436 10,215
I think she is waiting for the right time to say it’s cancelled. If they were working on new dates I think a short message would’ve happened saying they are working on a reschedule. She might give some hope to us by cancelling but saying she definitely wants to perform the album for us on stage in the future.

Live Nation probably has a reason, but without knowing it, it's just frustrating for fans and can come off as rude.
Franch Toast 27,178
I'm guessing that Live Nation is probably trying to work out new dates first, but this is tricky because: (a) No one knows when the pandemic will be over and such concerts can actually resume; (b) Gaga has to juggle this with her Vegas shows and filming schedule; (c) Scheduling is probably a mess in general with so many artists needing to reschedule that it's going to take some time to figure out. The best thing to do would be to notify ticket holders that the concerts will be postponed to an unknown date and offer the opportunity for refunds for those who'd like them. That's what happened for my Elton John tickets. I received the following message from "Elton" via Ticketmaster earlier this month: Spoiler We have been working diligently on rescheduled plans for 2021 in North America but wish to go on the road when we feel more assured it's fully safe for all parties including my fans, my tour crew and the building staff. As you can imagine, touring is a huge undertaking and requires enormous time to sort through all the details, not to mention the team it requires to travel the country and set up each night. My hope was to announce rescheduled dates this month; however, without a vaccine and more proper testing and tracing, we don't want to find ourselves in a position to have to re-announce concert dates once again later on. We will follow the science and medical experts and the progression of vaccine capabilities closely this year and announce new dates at an appropriate time with everyone's best interest in mind. In the meantime, I fully understand the hardships many are feeling during these unprecedented times and we are providing a 30-day window for refunds starting Wednesday, June 3rd for those in need. Otherwise, hold onto your tickets as new dates will be announced at a later time this year, in which case, a new refund window will open should you not be able to make the new date. Thank you for your patience. I promise to continue the Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour and look forward to seeing you by my side. Gaga needs to be given permission to send out a similar message ASAP. That’s a really great message, and makes so much sense. I agree, it’s exactly what they should be putting out there for the Chromatica Ball dates. KeepItCool 140
If they "Postpone" they will make you wait until the new date is announced before giving the option of a refund, at least in my experience during this time. If they cancel, refunds should be given to all. I'd say it's obvious it's not happening on the scheduled dates - more than likely no work has been completed on the stage, videos, choreography, or musical arrangements for obvious reasons let alone large gatherings of any kind being allowed. I didn't buy tickets yet but probably will once the rescheduled dates are announced - although I may hold out because I have a feeling it's not going to be so limited and more dates/venues could be added in the future. We'll see about that. I will say out of the 3 concerts I have tickets for this summer - one has been rescheduled already, one cancelled completely and one where all we know is it's "Postponed" which could easily turn into "Cancelled" at some point although i'm hoping it doesn't. Yes, I think some sort of notice would be nice right now - at least let us know they are working on rescheduling and that dates will be released shortly - any kind of information would be appreciated. numb the flame 7,321
They said nothing about the album date until we were all frustrated af and were threatening to cancel our orders. While I understand the tour cost a lot more than a £16 album, Gaga's team don't like to talk until everything is finalised which doesn't help her image much imo. They love to give us the silent treatment.

Kdavies12 139
I’m really hoping for a postponement this week! I haven’t actually got tickets yet but I couldn’t make the original date so would be great to get some tickets for London in 2021. Does seem slightly late now... all my shows until November have already been postponed or cancelled so she’s really cutting it fine for all those with travel plans! March34th 1,973
The fact that 2, possibly 3 out of the 6 of the dates cannot happen yet her team, LiveNation, or Gaga herself have yet to speak on it and it's almost a month away from starting is frustrating. I think about a month before (sometime in April), we heard that our show would be postponed, but we didn't receive the email with the option of a refund until early June.
