"The Jazz album with Tony Bennett" would be much more accurate tbh

I realized just now that people call C2C a "ballad album" and I was like It's more reasonable when they call Joanne a "country album" even if it's not actually a country album, but C2C "ballad"? They clearly haven't listen to it.

Guest
Because she sold jockstraps with an album bundle and Chromabottoms need to be fed in more ways than one during these trying times.

Wet Fire 7,409
It's not like everything she released between ARTPOP and Chromatica is ballad-y or stripped back. Perfect Illusion doesn't sound stripped back to me and I did dance a lot to C2C. But yes, those projects didn't become as popular as ASIB. And to imagine that Gaga is doing this good amidst a pandemic is amazing!! While the concept of ARTPOP backfired, Chromatica worked out.
