Helix 1,474
The meltdowns over this as if Gaga didn't make it very clear from the beginning that this album was a COLLABORATIVE effort... worms for brains. Regardless, very excited for the eventual re-launch
Enzo 37,977
Love everything but the article lowkey is telling us that Gaga didn't do as much as for this album than her other ones 툭 까보면 어김없이 소리질러와
NotDoctor 704
I love getting all this behind the scenes stuff, it's so cool to get a glimpse into the collaboration process. I hope we start getting more interviews with her directly though; not that Bloodpop and all the producers aren't fascinating to read about. Also, y'all she has been taking ideas from her producers since the beginning. RedOne mentioned having production ideas that became full songs from the sessions that gave us Just Dance and Poker Face, Government Hooker existed in some form as a instrumental before Gaga started working on it, ARTPOP was the same way and Perfect Illusion was mostly formed (as was Come To Momma) before Joanne. This isn't new and it doesn't say anything about how involved she was or wasn't.

Gaga didn’t even seem to care that much, she didn’t even have a vision when Stupid Love was presented to her. That’s why i like the album but can’t possibly love it I'm going to say this very slowly so you can understand... Spoiler

The production is on point, Gaga's vocals are marvelous and it has better lyrics than Sour Candy (a song that clearly doesn't fit within the Chromatica concept) Actually I think Sour Candy fits rather well since it is fitted between Plastic Doll and Enigma. Plastic Doll is about her relationship with fame and media, but there's also like hints of it being her relationship with someone who treats her like a toy. Enigma is a song that can be about herself being anything she wants, for herself or for another person. Sour Candy fits between the two as her being like "I'm not a taste for everyone, but if you like me, come enjoy me."

sinefrombelow 14
We’re joking about ARTPOP Act II but Bloodpop’s comments about more music are triggering the more recent violence of Mark Ronson teasing a pop version of Shallow (and wasn’t there purportedly an ARUTW pop version too??). Regardless, I love this article for taking us behind the scenes and I hope we get more Chromatica tracks in the future
zerojk 4,953
I think there should be a balance between Gaga involvement and her team's involvement. I remeber in some time of BTW and ARTPOP eras I hated how Gaga literally wanted to control everything, lyricwise, productionwise, fashionwise, and the result was not always the best. While I LOVE to know that the lyrics of the song that I'm enjoying are coming from her, and that she participated in the production a little, she has a great taste in music after all, but sometimes professionals know how to handle things better or have more experience in certain matters. xoxo Craig 55,649
My next question is WHEN will these songs be released? Is it a B-side album (Chromatica volume 2), or not? End Racism Now
