Versace 7,959
Hi guys, I haven't made a thread in what feels like a decade, dunno just nitm to get dragged for existing I LOVE Chromatica. It really is a concept album done right. When I hear the record, I can't help but feel mentally my mind is with her and that the soundscape takes me somewhere (especially with the legendary interludes). After a couple of listens, I get this feeling that there's something more to the record (Bablyon is a great closer, not coming for it!). Knowing Gaga she always has many amazing ideas/songs that don't make the final cut. Do you think that we could get a sequel EP (like TF/TFM) or a Side B record (like how she wanted AP Act II or like Tove Lo's Lady Wood/Blue Lips or Carly's dedicated/Side B) or even a re-release with more songs? Would you want something like that? Now, please don't get me wrong. I am definitely satisfied with Chromatica and don't think its realistic of us to expect anything new, anytime soon. Let's enjoy the record for now and just discuss this for fun Also, sorry if we've had a similar thread. Genuinely didn't see it.
whore 11,447
I hope we get an EP, which would include the SOPHIE and Boys Noize rejects and the original "Babylon"

Ricksies 527
A rerelease in several months with a handful of new bops could go down well. Would also be able to do actual promotion without a pandemic.
KORG 4,756
I think the album, as many have said, is like a movie. It would be a disservice to the album-movie-hybrid to not give it a sequel. Especially if she goes and gives every track a video like many expect. Beautiful.
The Fame 4,192
No, because Chromatica is about her being mentally unwell and fighting against her own mind. A sequel would only indicate she is still in that darkness. Chromatica is great, esp as a catharsis for her feelings, but her next project should be a new chapter as she continues forward. REALITY 76,234
Of course I wouldn't turn down new Gaga music, but I voted neutral. I could live without it, and I'm totally fine with the Chromatica we have now. That said, I do think that a "sequel" is more than likely for Chromatica in comparison to her other albums. For example, a sequel to Joanne wouldn't have made any sense, but I could definitely see some sort of follow up for Chromatica. BloodPop has already confirmed that "multiple versions" exist. Take that how you will, but he did confirm that other versions exist and that some of them (like the Haus Labs Babylon version) would be officially released. 🦠🧙♀️🥀📸🎉👻🕺🧟💊💖☎️🔪👤🐺🌱🌎

A re-release in a similar vein to The Fame Monster would make up for all of the promotion that was lost, and it could just be more like an extended era. REALITY 76,234
Just now, The Fame said: No, because Chromatica is about her being mentally unwell and fighting against her own mind. Well, but Chromatica is about her relationship with music; it's also a state of mind. She said in the Manifestos of Chromatica on Spotify that she can't "just end" Chromatica. Chromatica will be with her for the rest of her life. I get what you're saying, but it's more than just a catharsis for her. It's a way of life. By that definition, I could totally see her putting out new music that relates to Chromatica somehow. 🦠🧙♀️🥀📸🎉👻🕺🧟💊💖☎️🔪👤🐺🌱🌎
steven 5,940
No, Chromatica is doing well as just one big album, I don't see the point of continuing and making another EP based on the same concept. It's time to move on after this era is done.

Agreed on sentiment, but this shouldn't stop Chromatica Part II (think 4 song EP) to go out as the evolution — Similar to what The Fame and the Fame Monster had done Maybe instead of it being a sad album to dance to, it's the softer ballads that are actually joyous and grateful to have evolved out of there through dance
