“I went to Los Angeles and did what I had to do with BloodPop and the team,” Tchami says of the album’s primary songwriter-producer and sonic architect. “We linked in a studio for a week and he gave me the opportunity to work on all the songs they had at the moment at an early stage and I am very grateful for that.”

On “Rain On Me,” Tchami’s “French touch” can be heard, with some listeners likening the sound to Daft Punk. “We did a version that didn’t make the final cut,” he reveals. “But BloodPop and Burns re-did the production and kept elements of our previous versions…. I learned that when you work on another artist’s project that it’s never about you.”

But he already was involved in ARTPOP

Yeah and ironically most of his things has also been reworked by another producer's team (DJWS, Nick Monson, Dino Zisis)

He's more lucky this time as he also has some producing credits on Chromatica

Wait which songs did he work on for ARTPOP?

But OT this is a good read it's nice to have something until miss thing decides to press Play again.

Lol @ people thinking he sounds pressed when if you read the rest of the interview it’s more of an explanation of the process. He seems pretty chill.

Sexxx Dreams, Applause and DWUW

He was involved mainly because he's one of DJ Snake's best friends (with Mercer and Julien Arias). Their songs have been reworked by DJWS and his team

I wish someone would hack Joseph’s hard drive.

I guess in productions of albums that caliber you have to keep it strictly professional and objective. It’s a team effort and you should support whatever is best for the project.

Take note, DJ Snake.

Well, it's like that. The artist has a vision and the collaborators are there to help make it come true. And Gaga's always very vocal about what she wants for the project.

A collaborative effort.

I hope we get more info about the process of writing and creating Chromatica, would be great to see videos as well like the Joanne stuff.

I can hear some of early Daft Punk influences on Rain On Me, very curious about all the versions they did before they reworked it into what we got, makes sense why SOPHIE was being realistic about not knowing if it’d make the cut, she knows how it works.
