She herself said she’s an ally. No one is erasing anything but her. Woman said it and y’all should respect what she said. She has a reason behind what she said and i feel like she said it on purpose.

She did say she doesn’t identify herself as a gay woman. But she is bisexual unless she’s claiming she experimented in the past. :billie:

We go through this every pride on GGD. Entitled fans think they know better than Gaga, biology, and how sexual attraction works :billie:

Bisexuality is so complex. Some are straight down 50/50. But the vast majority of us are not. Sometimes we lean more to one than the other.

I would never identify as a gay man. If someone asked if I were gay, I'd say no. But, I am bisexual and do lean more towards men. Gaga is literally the same.

But the gay community don't wanna know about that. They only see gay or straight... so they lump everyone who isn't straight under the 'gay' banner. Gays will argue with me and tell me I'm gay, when I know myself better than anyone. And its the same with Gaga

Gaga has never publicly been in a relationship with a woman. We have had snapshots of her on a boat with another female getting very close. They want proof that she is bisexual... which is really sad. They see Gaga as straight, even though she has said she is bisexual and has never once said she is straight.

You don't need proof of someone liking both sexes to know that they are bisexual. They don't need to date both sexes to be bisexual. They don't need to feel exactly 50/50 towards both sexes to be bisexual.

Gaga sometimes herself only identifies as an "ally of the LGBTQ+" community. I remember reading posts where she refers to herself as that rather than a part of the community. She does however sometimes consider herself a part of the ocmmunity of course. I just understand though why many sometimes forget she is bisexual. She's also basically never had a public relationship with a woman so it becomes difficult to remember for some and we never read any stories about Gaga hooking up with women. But yeah I agree! we should remember that as fans in this community

I remember there being a minor uproar about her identifying as an "ally". The few times that I remember her directly doing it (Drag Race regarding a conversation around gay men as drag performers, Pulse night club memorial regarding her call for the rest of the world to ally and stand in solidarity with Orlando), it made sense in context!

Babel

One second she's bisexual, suddenly she says she's not gay.

I truly believe her when she says she likes *** but she should've worded those statements better.

She also explicitly stated she likes women at multiple Jazz + Piano shows, along with her 2019 NY Pride speech!

Two prides ago in LA, she said she was bisexual and an ally to the gay community.

Ugh, this topic always gets me in the gut. I'm a bisexual woman married to a man and people just love to erase my bisexuality and it can be such a source of hurt for me.

Gaga has said she's bisexual. There is NO NEED for any person to quantify how bisexual they think she is or how bisexual she has to be for it to "count". It sucks people, stop doing it!

You don't need proof of someone liking both genders to know that they are bisexual. They don't need to date both sexes to be bisexual. They don't need to feel exactly 50/50 towards both sexes to be bisexual.

I always assume when it comes to people who identify as bisexual show a % of which they are more interested in.

I never understand why people need Gaga and other bi people to prove themselves. :laughga: The only confusing part to me is if someone is bi and leans more men, do they just have Sexxx Dreams or Dancin’ In Circles about women? Or actually experiment?

I mean, you can't exactly put a percentage on it. Some are able to, but for me, it would be difficult to break it down into a percentage. I have a specific type of woman that I'd be into, but its much more open with men... if that makes sense. More picky, less picky lmao

I agree. I get it (had it) from my father growing up, telling me that I could either be gay or straight. Its annoying when the gay community does the exact same. I can only imagine what being famous and seeing how the media, your fans, and the gay community telling you that you aren't bisexual must feel like :bradley:
