Stassi Schroeder dropped by PR company after racism backlash

Stassi Schroeder has been dropped by her publicist and public relations firm, United Talent Agency, amid backlash the “Vanderpump Rules” star has received for racially insensitive behavior.

Last week, the reality star and her “Pump Rules” co-star, Kristen Doute, came under fire for allegedly calling the cops on Faith Stowers — the show’s only black cast member ever —  because they thought she looked like a robbery suspect who was at-large.

“There was this article in the Daily Mail where there was an African American lady,” Stowers, 31, explained in an Instagram Live chat. “It was a weird photo, so she looked very light-skinned and had these different, weird tattoos. I guess this woman was robbing people. And they called the cops and said it was me. This is like, a true story.”

Schroeder has also received additional criticism for controversial comments she made on her “Straight Up With Stassi” podcast.

In an episode about the Oscars, she said, “Why aren’t the Asians being like, ‘We’re not represented.’ Why aren’t Native Americans and Latinos being like, ‘We’re not represented.’ And whenever they get upset everyone has to go above and beyond to then make them happy.” The “them” referred to black people.

This is gross. I hope she's been fired from Vanderpump Rules (and the other girl) and whoever else is racist garbage.

Good. and in general I'm so sick of reality TV stars and the culture surrounding them with all the recent discussions on privilege, and the recession/disparity in wealth distribution etc, why do all of us poor people even continue to glorify people like her.

Why didn't they treat the new guys like this? Didn't they both have a bunch of racist tweets resurfacing when the show was starting? Yet they still give them air time and are still getting "perks" for being on the show
