Well, now we have data that shows a rise in hospitals activity 3 months before the official announcement. 

Of course, China can say that it was something else.

Well, all the people who can find a cure or vaccine are probably involved in that process. There is no harm done to that process by this.

I feel like this was known. I recall reading an article about a case in France.

They retested a swab from someone taken in December and it tested positive for Covid-19 therefore it was likely in Europe way before we thought it was.

The more logical take is that the chinese people kept looking for other reasons to blame their sickness on other than an unknown virus that would soon grow to a global pandemic. And doctors didn't know about covid at the time and probably misdiagnosed it. 

But of course the neoliberals and neoconservatives will use this as an excuse to try and be unnecessarily aggressive with China. Because we all know the US thrives off of war.

I wouldn't be surprised if they later will find out the virus was emerging from late summer. I read a few months ago that scientists believe October/ September to be the time when the virus appeared and now this makes it seem likely.

Well considering north korea, china and russia are all over there together and all share a common circumstance: being vilified by the USA, I would say that there's reasons to be defensive. Not to mention that so many of our products are made in china and our high wage labor market cannot compete with the cheap wages in places like China and India, it would be wise if the US decided to be more diplomatic than arrogant bullies on the playground.

This is a news article, not a government statement. They of course have the right to call out and emit hypothesis about when COVID started. There are a plethora of articles and studies done relating COVID already. 

Neither of the countries you mentioned or US seemed to manage the virus in the best way and to say that is no ''villifying''.
