Interesting title, good message, a sound we've heard but never from Gaga which is showcasing of how she can do any type of songs. Radio friendly (i guess this is a good thing):vegas:

If it was on 1989 you'd be praising it.

It's a good pop song. Bye.

I get that it's basic as a concept. Something we'd hear in 2009.

But it's one of my faves on the album. I just love the structure and sound.

Spoiler

Honestly this is the single thing that bothers me about this song haha

She could've literally said "plastic" instead of it and it would be cringe-free.

I don't know why noone mentions the "cherry lips" callback to The Fame era!

Idk why but I also just really like the line "who's that girl, Malibu Gaga" but every reaction I've watched has skimmed over that

Malibu Gaga is the cutest lyric ever!

Okay finally! Thank you!

I think maybe people don't know that it's referencing Malibu Barbie (maybe also Malibu Stacy from The Simpsons but that's a stretch)

I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

I love it and actually think it would make a great single. I think it would do well on the radio. One thing I feel like I've learned being a Gaga fan for so many years is that most of her die hard fans like to pick singles based on the songs they personally like but mostly we like Gaga because not everything she does is in a mold or radio GP friendly. I love what people on here suggest as singles - not disagreeing with their taste in songs, just their thoughts on what works on the radio. But I believe Plastic Doll would work well.
