Meanwhile, the US population went from 203M in 1970 to 318M in 2014. A 56% increase in the GP compared to a 525% increase in the prison population. Once you invest more into those community- and human-focused avenues, there will naturally be less crime. Get the pinot ready, because it's turtle time. To what extent do you, or people who want to defund police in general, want to defund the police (assuming that removal of police force in its entirety is not proposed) ?
