Massive Monster 5,003 Posted June 8, 2020 Share Posted June 8, 2020 Although I understand it's appeal to a younger audience, Sour Candy for me is just too cute and sell out Call me old but not only does it slap but Sine From Above has the widest audience: the locals, the Elton John fans, the Swedish (House Mafia fans), the Gaga fans (I hope), the religious, the non-religious, the music makers, NASA, the whole of the UK, the Royal Family, Europe, Music Incarnated, I'm Cher bitch, The World, and Zeus. I think Alice has a stronger chorus and is more memorable on first listen than 911. 911 has a sick build up, but not sure the chorus and a song about meds is ideal for radio. Coming off from ROM which is a duet, Gaga should release Alice before moving on to another power feature song that is Sour Candy/SFA to keep the momentum going, then Babylon and end off with the remaining power feature SC/SFA. IMO 911, as much as it seems to be one of the fan favourites...it one of the more heavily edited songs in Chromatica and I'm just worried that it will not vibe well with the GP. If ANY single can do well as a 4th single in the streaming era, it’s Sour Candy. The blinks are INCREDIBLE at promo. I don’t think they’ll make Sour Candy an official single since they never have in the past (Beautiful Dirty Rich + Dance In The Dark).
