Both Alejandro and Born This Way are remarkable.

Alejandro for bringing back a synthpop 2 step ala Ace Of Bace but dark and refreshed.

Born This Way for its bold lyrics and industrial dark church synthpop sonics.

Kind regards

They do. Gaga composed and produced them:triggered:

Also, it's not an interlude, it's an overture

okay chromatica 1 is an overture (the rest though are interludes- overtures only occur at the beginning of something) sure but it still doesn't make it a song. its just an orchestral piece at the beginning of an opera, suite, play, oratorio, or other extended composition like an album.

so if we're comparing the first songs on each of gaga's album, you can't compare the overture to just dance, bad romance, marry the night, aura, or diamond heart. you would include Alice in that category. Alice is chromatica's first SONG.  chromatica 1 is the overture to chromatica ALBUM, not a song.  therefore- if we're comparing the second song on the albums, chromatica's would be stupid love, not Alice.

so no, they don't really count under this circumstance.  it is not fair to compare an overture- an orchestral piece with no lyrics/vocals to the rest of Gaga's open album tracks (just dance, bad romance, marry the night, etc)

True, it's not a song, but I think the comparison is still possible since it's still Gaga's composition, melody, feelings etc.

And the thread says track, not song, so :vegas:

The Idler Wheel

Am I alone in thinking this is one of the most "meh" collection of "favorite ____" tracks?

I love Venus and Alejandro, but i'm indifferent about everything else! Voted for Venus, despite loving both equally.
