homomo 23,883
This is an incredible milestone! See, protests work people. This is what everyone was fighting for, and it finally happened. Trained professionals will now take police officers places. This has been needed for a looooong time. Like, if you actually think about it... why were we okay with people who get 6 months of training for one of the most important jobs out there? (Conflict resolution) plus all while having military-like mentalities built into their way of thinking. 0110100001100101011011000110110001101111

We've been seeing this throughout the country- official city-funded paintings of "BLACK LIVES MATTER" on streets, cops kneeling or hugging protesters, etc. and then inciting violence right after. Symbolism is not action. Eyes need to be open. 3 points in and ready for more

Alot of the protesters aren't being violent towards the right people though, like damaging the neighbourhoods of immigrants instead of Wall street and multiple police horses have been seriously injured in the UK protests. Exactly! I don't agree with violence but I can at least understand where it's coming from if it's targeted at something relevant like a police station but something like a small mom and pop shop or restaurant is not it But it's so hard to tell how much damage was done by who anyway given the evidence of at least some framing against protestors.
