Lady Gaga is incredibly image councious, she and her team know how to work with advertising and image. From street appearances to the thumbnails of YouTube videos; So remember who you're dealing with. She knows how to use images. She knows what she is doing. They use one of her old looks to show them that Gaga has grown up too but parts of her young self remain, so that they have a feeling of familiarity with the whole situation and also a realization that from now on they are in charge of their lives. Work on yourselves if that’s what you resort to in order to feel better as for why she looks like she’s “a mom taking her kid to btwb” or “an impersonator of herself”—it’s because she’s 34 years old. She doesn’t look like she did 10 years ago anymore, none of us do. Her outfit is great and more importantly it reflects a message she's been sending for 12 years. It's not just ok to be different, it's a beautiful thing.
