I miss Boomkack. Not saying Richy is bad but she made all iconic choreos for Gaga. The choreos were simple, swift, and sexy at the same time. :diane:

Laurianne said in an interview Gaga's work was "getting too dark" and that she wanted to keep it geared towards kids and a more general audience. Gaga should've went darker for BTW tbh

Gibson was uncomfortable with the religious stuff from Judas video.

Gibson tried to make it seem she was building Madonna 2.0 and when things got too "dark" for her, she and Gaga split. She then tried to make herself a popstar, but lmao I'm sorry but I have to laugh

If I recall correctly the biggest thing that started the whole drama between them was Judas music video, Laurianne was not ok with the religious meaning behind it

It's ironic 'cause if I recall correctly, she helped Nicki with her 2012 Grammy Gaga-like, "blasphemous" performance  which was definitely not child-friendly. Lmao

Not really ironic, just sad. Judas got a lot of backlash because of the religious imagery and she just went along with it so people would appreciate her better.

We–

Her choreos were anything but simple :billie:

They were physically demanding, would affect her vocal performances significantly and played a part in her broken hip :emma:

It screams treachery imo.

Boomkack choreos were simple and easier than Richy’s. The only physically demanding choreos she gave Gaga was:

- Judas

- Telephone

- Yoü and I

Everything else was on Richy. :emma:

Umm Born This Way? Even with TFM choreos like BR she had to move her body a lot, something that she doesn't have to do as much anymore :emma:

Richy just made it easier for her to stay at one place and perform. More hand and leg movements than throwing her body around. MTN is a tough choreo tho, I'll admit that :huntyga: but then her best song deserves top-notch choreo :queenga:

By the way, anyone remember when she tried to become a pop girl and released a song under the name "Harlee"?

(I'm not joking, this was really her attempt of creating a new pop career. Obviously, it was not very successful)

In any case, truth be told: she was an incredible choreographer. She put everyone dancing to Gaga's moves. Richy's is an absolute mess compared with Gibson's skills: too complicated to be replicated, almost never follows the songs very well, and he fills some gaps with poor moves. Not that it matters nowadays of course.

I remember when she basically became a meme in the fan base in 2011. Literally hilarious. She was a great choreographer but she was ... unhinged to say the least fffffff

Umm... MTN and Applause are pretty ICONIC choreos, lbr for a minute here and pretty easy to learn. Even SL choreo is fun, if not iconic, and easy to replicate

Also, why do y'all forget that Richy was Gibson's assistant choreographer before taking over as Gaga's lead choreographer and probably played some role in all her choreographies since Gibson started working with her? :awkney:

I'm glad her and Gaga don't work together anymore, for Gaga's sake in terms of mental health. However, her choreos **** on anything Richy can come up with :poot:

So long ggd, it was nice while it lasted.

I still have to laugh on the fact she calls herself Boomkack :billie: . I mean, does she know "kack" is literally just another German word for Scheiße? :billie:  :billie:

Spoiler

Looking at what she tried to do, the "kack" really is legit :billie:

Ew, David!

Laurianne was a great Gaga collaborator, but the thing is that Gaga for whatever reason gave a her role that wasn’t fit for her.

Why the **** would give your choreographer a creative direction role? :rip:

Choreography wise she stomps on Richy by far. I dare to say that her last iconic Choreo was Judas.

I agree but  Marry The Night, You & I, Apppause, and G.U.Y had great choreo. Simple and effective. Everything else has been messy and sometimes repetitive.
