Waffle. You’re very self absorbed. Maybe if you spent as much time typing up job applications as you do harping on this site with your nonsense you’d get out into the real world and understand how people work.

DAMN. You went there. The post I actually thought would convince you gets dismissed as "waffle." You truly are biased. There's no reasoning with you whatsoever. And again, you made assumptions about how I get jobs now and holding that against me? You have no idea of what jobs I've been looking for or how I can only apply to certain jobs because of travel restrictions, job relevancy and job availability. I've been sending out applications but haven't got a single interview. And now with the virus, I can't even get a chance of that as so many places stopped hiring several months ago - I actually got emails from companies saying they're halting everything. M&S is literally the only ones who ever gave me a chance and they said they would've kept me on if they had more hours to spare but everyone's had their hours cut and they can't afford another staff member. They said they'd keep my details but despite someone set to leave this month, they've not been in touch. Everyone at the employment centre is baffled as to why I can't get any call-backs as they think my CV is actually stronger than some other people's and they got an interview.

I've said it once and say it again - you don't know a damn thing about me. I'm done with you. How you still win any level of praise when you say such awful things about people publicly is beyond me.

Lol maybe it’s just that nobody else has been real enough with you in the past? It’s not even an insult, it’s just true. Maybe the truth is ‘awful’. Pity.

I remember hearing a word of advice once that went something along the lines of - if you keep hearing/getting told the same things then it’s probably worth at least looking inwards and considering that maybe you’re doing something wrong. Seems as though you could take that advice both on here and in your offline life. Just a thought. Not that I think you’ll abandon your stubbornness for one moment.

If anyone needs to the evaluating, it's you, for putting such high standards on people which you can't even police because you can't see what they are and aren't engaging in.

Ive quoted everything weird you've said, you sounded entitled and off the mark. You don't understand other people's experience in life. There's a reason why the majority of people think you're racist maybe think about why

Nothing surprises me. Some members even defended pedophilia, some are into incest, so yeah there are some pretty dark people in here

I know the symbolism but that doesn't mean you have to take it upon yourself to do it.

Yeah they do, and they should. Nobody wants a racist glorified in the form of a statue. And if all you care about is the work and time that took to make the statue, or the fact that "not every white people glorified this man" or any other excuse to complain about this, then this means you don't want this statue taken down because you do care about Churchill in some ways. How did I come up with this conclusion? Well it's easy, if your first reaction is to be horrified and shocked then yeah, you do think Churchill should be glorified, you don't want change, you don't want protest to go on, you think discrimination can wait, as you've said and it's your own words "People think racism is the most important thing to protest about and they always do it in such an extreme way". Who are you to tell people who've been treated like **** for centuries how they should protest. MLK died, Malcolm X died, everyone dies, and you have the audacity to say as a white woman that you are sick and tired of people gaining their voice back and being angry. Please do us all a favor and stop posting.

I'm far from entitled. One thing I'm definitely not entitled in is the right to say horrible things to other people without knowing them. Because guess what? I do understand and sympathise with others and I know how bullying affects a person's mental health. You also don't know what that person is going through in reality. Something certain people here, including you, have been really nasty about me, across not just this thread, but others too. I've had vile assumptions and lies spread about me. I tell them they've got me wrong and they don't believe me. They can't detect my true personality through a screen. If you met me in real life, you might think much differently. And the majority of people don't think I'm racist. People in real life certainly don't. That's all the proof you need right there that the online world presents a distorted reality and we can't detect tone and intent.

I ALREADY SAID I SUPPORT THE REMOVAL OF THE STATUE. But that's not for the public to do, but the council, under controlled conditions. I just have respect for public property and the safety concerns of dismantling a big heavy statue, so sue me. I said that I'm fine with people protesting, just that they shouldn't commit violence. Police and their horses had bottles and fireworks thrown at them, they had to run for cover and some got terribly injured and unlike American cops, they weren't attacking the protestors, so they did nothing to warrant that. I have respect for human safety and life, I don't approve of people who don't share that sentiment. And my point is that I wish all social causes were looked upon just as seriously as racism. I don't see people taking to the streets to this extent about feminist or LGBT issues, for example. Prejudice towards all marginalised groups is something that should result in equal offence. I don't get why racism is seen as the ultimate offence, all prejudice should outrage us the same way. I never said I'm tired of people gaining their voice and being angry. Don't put words into my mouth or tell me to stop posting just because you don't like my opinion or don't understand it.

Goal was never to hurt me. SURE. That's why you spread assumptions and lies about me when I repeatedly told you to stop. I shut down a debate when it doesn't go my way?. No, others do that. I stick out a thread til the bitter end. You said yourself I was stubborn. Why else am I still responding you. I can't even keep my own word.

Many members here I've seen what they post and you can clearly understand where their heart is coming from. If you've heard this from many people online, then don't u think that means there's an issue in what you say? Or maybe you could be unaware that you are entitled, a bit selfish and you think the world revolves around you? Maybe you lack self-awareness and need to work on that. I never wanna be nasty online, I never leave nasty comments for enjoyement, I'm sick and tired of you defending a statue glorifying Churchill and/or saying very dumb things literally explaining how people need to stop protesting and instead do it in the "comfort of their own beds". You definitely do not understand real life.

Depends on what type of violence. Don’t get smart with generalizing statement.

Many other members can clearly understand where my heart is coming from. They have personally told me they don't think I'm racist. How do we decide who is right and wrong? Online chat is always emotionally heightened, nobody hears the tone, the nuance or sees the facial expressions. That can lead to a lot of stuff being deemed much worse than it actually is. And no, I don't think these things. Who are you to call me those awful things? You only started speaking to me a a few days ago. You apparently know more about me than everyone else in my real life who has never called me those things? Don't come for me and I won't come for you. You're the one lacking self-awareness, seeing as you say that you don't want to be nasty online yet I'm telling you straight that you're being nasty to me and you dismiss it. And you call me selfish? I even agreed with some of your posts lately about Meghan Markle, so clearly, you think it's ok to criticise black people sometimes but still be pro-black. So why I can't I do the same? And I put in all caps in the earlier post that taking down the statue doesn't bother me. How could you have missed it? Why are you still saying inaccuracies about me? And I understand real life in that I know that most people don't have the luxury of protesting because they have to work to keep a roof over their heads. And that police are risking their safety to oversee these protests. I see more than just the protestors, which shows a bit more emotional intelligence, don't you think? I'm a feminist and I don't go on feminist marches. I'm not the protesting type. I'd be shocked and appalled if say, a feminist cause acted like this because it's not what we stand for and fuels damaging stereotypes. In the past, such a view would be commendable. In 2020, it's sacrilege. What a world.
