but the instrumental break after the first verse is very much displeasing to my cochlear nerve. Very much forever 21 music.

As much as I love free woman... I have to agree with this.

Free Woman and 1000 doves are the most radio-friendly song in the whole album.

Many of the songs on the album sounds incomplete - Alice (missing a proper second verse), Babylon (no bridge), free woman (no bridge), sour candy (no proper second verse).

1000 doves, sine from above, plastic doll and the two singles are thd most 'complete' song.

Chromatica remains inferior to BTW and ARTPOP. It is an album which sacrifice artistry for commercial performance.

There are so many ****ing producers, writers, etc. It's ridiculous, we deserve more original, un****ed-with ideas by The Queen herself, I'm just gonna say that.

Oh also Sour Candy is such a waste of talent, seriously. Those beautiful girls and the Queen could have created something bigger, deeper, gayer and much more creative tbh.

this bothers me too, like when exactly gaga turned into this kind of pop star that need 6 people to write a bland pop song with NO chorus like sl, or with a lenght of just 3:00 like fn, rom? and not even produce it?

born this way: 17 songs mostly with +4 min, 6 songwriters and producers. gaga produced every song.

chromatica: 13 songs mostly with -3 min, 27 songwriters and producers, gaga isn't a producer in none of them.

- It's her worst album and I dislike most of the songs.

- The interludes >>>>>>>> All the rest

- 911 and Replay are the only ones I actually like, but if I had to rank all Gaga songs, they would still be faaaaar from the top.

- Even by these standards, I find Alice overrated, I don't see how it's considered one of the best songs.

- I think Ariana doesn't really bring anything to Rain on me, I barely notice her presence when they sing togther.

- The message of Free woman is nothing new and groundbreaking. I prefer the way she talks about it in Scheisse, in a more original and metaphorical way.

- Sour Candy and Stupid Love are some of her worst songs ever.

- Enigma has potential, I like the chorus but it just feels like it's building up to something that never comes.

- Sine from above is a mess. I was expecting something good with Elton John, but I don't understand how he got into that mess.

- The piano version of 1000 Doves is the only thing that gave me chills in the album.

- Actually, even though I usually prefer songs with big vocals, I think the very problem of this album is that this type of production doesn't work with big vocals at all. It feels like the instrumental is "cancelling" whatever energy the vocals bring (the proof being, once again, 1000 Doves). Which is why I only like 911 and Replay : more quiet and robotic vocals totally fit this genre.

super ultra

SL is in the top 5 of the album and was the perfect choice for the lead single.

Blackpink's > Gaga's part in Sour Candy

Stupid Love's production, while really generic, is actually the best on the album. It's punchy, pulsating, and has some of my favorite sounds on the entire album:  the bursts of sound at 1:00, 1:04 and 1:08 are pure sound candy.

The production is super generic on a lot of the songs and really does not take me on any journeys. Replay though is one of the only exceptions in that sense

It’s the only album of hers where I don’t feel she’s that personal on it
