LibraOctober98 3,495
Recall that in the book, Alice is tired of the mundaneness of the world, where everything is boring and blah, and she wants to be in a world where "nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?" Except Wonderland didn't end up being a great place either. Like I imagined Gaga on drugs is “Alice” and she’s finding happiness through wonderland. She’s now sober is trying to find “wonderland” without being on drugs but to no avail. She’s tired of it because wonderland never really existed. The drugs made this place exist. Metaphors I guess.

KORG 4,756
It's about finding "the sound" the 2and verse explains it. She is desperately trying to find music. "Wonderland" is the feeling of being submerged in music.
