“Strut it out/Walk a mile/Serve it ancient city style” is almost the exact same rhythm as “Greta Garbo/And Monroe/Deitrich and DiMaggio”

And her voice is a direct tribute to Madge too.

Schwerk

Not gonna lie, the first time I heard 911 I instantly thought of post Confessions Madonna. And it's the reason it took me a long time to get into it. I was a Madonna fan untill Confessions, I wasn't feeling her sound after that, the 00s disco revival with heavy autotune is not my thing.

I do however love how Gaga used it thematically, it's almost robotic and I love the lyrics. Slowly getting into it.

According to Gaga I'm a ****ing rad bitch

Vogue and Like A Prayer

I don't hear it that much tho, maybe the instrumentals (in a way) from Vogue and LAP's choir?

shocked love and hip hop GIF

HONESTLY i never put much or any atenttion to Vogue but now i will never unhear this!!! I think she def did it on purpose! Maybe she is shading Madonna? "Party like its BC" "Ancient Citu style" like calling her old? Is that or if she releases as a single i can totally see Madonna making a cameo in the video and both dancing together.

Blown Away

I disagree hard on this one. The tempo is different, the melody is different, the lyrical content is not comparable and most of all 911 is actually listenable.

They shipped it, but it got shipped back

Mylène Farmer also did a similar thing in this song:
