I think this is a teachable lesson for her going forward. She said in the video that in her first reaction she wasnt really 'there' as a result of all the unrest going on both then and now. For this one she was far more relaxed and allowed the musoc to come in. Ideally I would love to see her postpone videos when she isn't feeling right or isn't in the right mood to do an honest and fair reaction. Even I cannot listen to anything new when I'm not fully present because I struggle to let it in and can't really focus. We all consume it in different ways to different levels when in different moods and headspaces.

Maybe she wasn't bullied into making the video but she was still unfairly dragged and stuff. You know how some phaguites are on Youtube and Twitter, I'm sure there were a lot of words thrown at her (there always are, don't even act like there aren't), so I feel bad for her. Even if she planned to milk LMs for views, I have a feeling I know how some racist bitches reacted.

She doesn't even hate it y'all, though the first listen was bad because all she kept saying was that she needed more time to listen.. I'm glad she's revisiting. She seems to be in a better headspace.

She says she went into the first listen with bias based on Gaga's past material and she didn't let herself enjoy it because she kept comparing it to her past work. This listen, she is listening to the lyrics and feeling the music and enjoying it. It also seems very real, to me. I don't think she's trying to appease anyone.

Although to the people criticizing her for focusing on money because she noticed how many views, why do you care if she does it for money? YouTube is a source of income for a lot of people.

I don't think she is either, she still doesn't like 911 and parts of Plastic Doll & Fun Tonight, she's being honest

May I ask why we care so much about her opinion? No shade, her reactions to singles and videos can be cute, but the musical knowledge is very thin and she never can articulate the technical aspects of something when she’s critiquing. Even as far as references, she’s almost always far off the point she wants to deliver. “HEYYY!!!!” and a headbang are far from constructive or knowledgeable for me to care what she thinks.

My issue with her is that she judges something on first listen and it’s a combination of reaction for clicks + shallow quick review based on personal taste, which is never fair to the product.

I always think “it took them years to make this album, I could give it a few listens before I judge”, you know?

Anyway... :madge:

This don't seem genuine. She didn't like stupid love the first three times she listened to it now she gives it a mark?

I'm sorry but I would have more respect if she stuck by her original opinion rather than giving into the people who got upset. But who knows, maybe her opinion did actually change and I'm being to harsh...

Well... most people who are not stans are listening to songs/albums once and then decide if they like it or not. Only stans and people who are interested into production, vocal techniques etc. are listening more often to songs/albums.

So AJayll is only a girl from the GP and reacts to what she heard first. It's not a bad thing or a big deal

Well that is exactly the point, she is revisiting the album to ‘sugarcoat’ her opinion for us... aka EXACTLY what you’re saying she’s not doing...

And how do you know that? You think music doesn't grow on people? All assumptions and people trying to convince themselves to hate on someone. Like who really cares. It's a damn reaction channel. There are tons out there, if it's not your cup of tea, move on.

She did say that most of the songs were growers though, so I think it makes sense for her to revisit the album.

I'm only like 2 minutes in, but she does seem genuinely interested so far. She also said in the beginning that literally no one requested this, and even though there certainly was a lot of hate and aggression thrown her way, I didn't see anyone saying to redo the reaction.

At the end of the day, this all would've blown over. We'd forget about it in 2 weeks and everyone would've moved on. But instead she decided to revisit it; I think she's doing this because she's had a change of heart about the album.

Tbf to her, I think a lot of us did :laughga:

Y’all, leave her alone. She doesn’t have to love everything Gaga puts out.

Truth be told, I think SL sounds better within the album and I *really* don't like the song. I could see her having a change of heart.
