I bopped to it before we had ROM (and Free Woman demo ) but afterwards it feels like very sub par compared to the rest of the album. The production and sound of SL doesn't fit Chromatica AT ALL imo.

I am watching the video. And it feels like she's listening to the album without the defensive aura she had on the first one. She was coming off the negativr reaction she received for both SL and ROM. 

 

This time it feels like she's listening to it yhe way she listen to Gaga past albums. She's paying attention to the lyrics and the details. This one feels like a more genuine reaction honestly.

Literally I’ve been watching her for years now and loved her videos and still do. What I was pointing out was the fact that this seems pretty fake and just to please us. I literally don’t mind her not liking the album, its her opinion, but this revisited thing was CLEARLY for us and to make a buck off of the fact that gaga content brings in the views. As she said, nobody asked for it so why did she do it? As I said, the money and to bring the little monsters back on her side. This is what I dislike and don’t appreciate, fakery, not her not liking Gaga’s music.

It's almost like Perfect Illusion with how it did not fit with rest of Joanne album. But Perfect Illusion is better than Stupid Love.

Edit: But PI was very stripped back in production even though it was "harsher" and more rock than the rest of the songs. 

SL is not what I would call house. And it interrupts the flow of the record imo.

This!!! If anything I respect her for acknowledging that she went into the album with a bias/not in the right mindset and redid the reaction.

Also, I don’t think she faked anything to “sugarcoat it” for us.. she DESTROYED Ariana’s “sweetener” on her first listen & Ari is one of her favorite artists.

I’ve seen her reactions to every past Gaga album and she has praised them all. She fist pumped to ARTPOP. She cried to Joanne. She’s not a Gaga hater at all.
