TFM is great, but it’s not my fav Gaga album. I love Bad Romance, Alejandro, Speechless, and Teeth, but can’t say I listen to any of the other songs that much.

Bad Romance stomps on Chromatica as a album. TFM is legendary.

Chromatica is extremely good but doesn't have highs like TFM. Its extremely balanced.

Voted Chromatica since it has grown a lot on me in just a week.

Love it when you call me legs In the morning, buy me eggs

People liked it so much because she provided something that the music industry just did not have at that time. Don't get me wrong, I love and adore songs like Bad Romance, and Speechless, and Alejandro, etc., but if she were to release TFM today, I don't think people would love it as much as they did back then.

I understand that the logistics of her releasing TFM today aren't possible, but that's besides the point.

The point I'm making is that nostalgia plays a huge role in why we like things. Personally, I believe that Gaga only gets better and better with each era. She's growing and she's evolving. That's fantastic. I don't want to continually compare her stuff to the past because then that creates a never ending cycle of disappointment.

TFM was great, and it'll always be iconic and legendary, but I think Chromatica is much, much better as an album.

As an era, sure, TFM is 10x better. Chromatica almost practically doesn't have an era because of the COVID-19 situation and the protests going on right now.

Nostalgia is always going to play a role in everything we listen to. It’s why Gaga released an album full of 90s pop music. If there was no nostalgia then people would never look back to the past to create new things.

I was more so talking about how people have nostalgia for the era and how it made them feel, not necessarily the music itself. I mean, yes, if 90s house, disco, house, techno, etc. weren't at least somewhat nostalgic, then Gaga wouldn't have made Chromatica, but I was talking about how TFM era made people feel, not the music.

People love TF/TFM and BTW because they grew up with it. The music's of course great too, but it's more than that.

The first time I listened to Chromatica I felt like it was her 2nd best album after Born This Way. I was just so excited about new music but after a couple listens I went back to The Fame Monster and no, there's no way to top that album either. Chromatica might be my 3rd favorite right now but the more I go back to ARTPOP, Joanne and The Fame I also feel like these are great bodies of work. I think time will tell, it's too soon to decide but Born This Way and The Fame Monster will probably always be her best.
