I’m not saying that Gaga should be promoting Chromatica right now, because it would be utterly tone deaf to do so, but seeing some of the comments here, I think we also need to be sensitive and compassionate to Monsters who are sad or upset right now about how this era has gone. Chromatica is something that people have literally waited years for, and it feels like it’s just been swept away by a hurricane. Will Gaga eventually resume talking about the album, of  course. But you can’t replace the energy and freshness of release week. That’s something that is permanently lost to us. Celebrating with Gaga that Rain On Me is the #1 song in America for this week, also something that was permanently lost to us. Obviously there’s a bigger picture here, but let people grieve for a time that should have been joyous and fun that got stripped away. If we can’t express our disappointment about that on Gaga Daily, where can we express it?

Kim, there's people that are dying.

For me it is important.

Also I m not from US, my country Doesn t kill people because are black.. Most of Gaga fans are outside America.. We support her but enough is enough.. Gaga needs to understand that she ll never win the Nobel price

I'm pretty sure Gaga isn't doing all of this to win the Nobel Prize. She is a person who cares for others and wants to spread positivity to the world.

And I don't care that the Chromatica era is over for you. Lives matter more than an era.

Enough with the fans being so selfish and them mocking Gaga for trying to help in the time of need.

Fans and specifically YOU need to understand that an album is not as important right now.

I can assure you wherever you're living there will be some form of anti-blackness. It may not manifest in overt police brutality but racism is not an American-only issue.

that's what im talking about, this is why i have a gaga tattoo. to me gaga is not just a singer, she is an icon. she never fails to amaze me and make me proud. she didn't sit there to post 2 posts and be like "ive done my part" she literally planned everything out, she's giving her account over to BLM organizations so they can raise awareness and spread information. this is priceless. and people were pissed off she didn't say more stuff. this is it, this is the ultimate thing a white ally can do in order to help. this is using your platform to the MAX. what a woman, what an icon. im so moved, i love her so much.

Could you imagine if she carried on promo like some of these tone deaf fans want her to? :sharon: I thought our fanbase was a bit smarter than that.

People seem to think that because it's not happening in their country it doesn't affect them - and everything should carry on as normal. Racism and injustices to non white communities are prevalent across the world and this issue is something everyone should be having conversations about. **** album promo - Gaga is using her platform to amplify the voices that need to heard and that is what's important right now.

:saladga: People can be upset about the album being sidelined while still recognizing the gravity and importance of BLM. They are not mutually exclusive. Maybe let people vent without mocking them or making them feel bad?

Btw thanks for reading my entire post, disregarding the message, and responding with an overused Kardashian quote :vegas:

giving up her platform to those who experience this injustice to spreak and spread the message to the millions of people who are following her... THIS is exactly how you do it

We got the album. We got the music. Period. Her job is technically done if she wants it to be.

The videos, promo, outfits, interviews, etc. are all extra. They will more than likely happen eventually in the coming weeks.

Those who are upset about no promo made it through the month-long silence after the initial delay. They can make it through this. I could maybe get your point if we got no album, but we got it sis.

We got the album , just listen to it. What more can she talk about? Most things she have explained on those Apple radio interview, and more on that Spotify  bonus supplements. More over, more interview that she did before postponement with radio/tv shows have been showing up one by one. What more can she do when she is unable to travel and put up a nice shows for TV promos?

Might as well use her time for something that mattered now, such as this BLM movement.

Gaga’s a pop star so that’s not really accurate. The music is only half the equation. I and many others wouldn’t be half the fans we are of Gaga if there wasn’t all the amazing artifice that accompanies her music.

But once again, my message: If someone uses a sad react or makes a comment about disappointment, just leave them be and let them have their feelings. We don’t need to mock them or criticize them, or try to rationalize their feelings away. Practice kindness and empathy within our own community.

Some of y'all...

Black Lives Matter is worldwide because anti-Blackness is worldwide. She's doing her part, and she's doing it well.
