The bonus payments are automatic I wouldn't be surprised if they don't even notice they received it They paid off their house like 40 years ago (it's worth like $1.4M now cuz it's close to downtown Toronto) And they are swimming in money. Not because they were super high income but they were just Portuguese immigrants that came to Canada and did nothing but work and sleep (like many Portuguese immigrants from that generation) They have no taste or interest in buying new electronics, brand name clothes or travelling or experiencing life. They just do nothing And now that my grandpa doesn't wanna drive anymore (he's 81) he doesn't even have a car to pay bills with and they don't need a car anyway cuz everything in that part of the city is walking distance. Also cuz they are old now and not active they don't eat at much as they used to either so even their grocery bills are limited They also don't have internet service cuz they don't know how to use it So their pension and retirement income even tho it's not huge it just keeps piling up cuz they don't spend money on anything

I am amazed I never knew this before?? Yeah... Symbolically anyway. Queen Elizabeth is our Queen since we're part of the common wealth but Britain doesn't actually have any real authority over us anymore It's just a tradition thing now. We have our own Governor General that signs bills on behalf of the Queen

He was very very greedy tho it was like a sickness, then his kids inherited his money and they travelled, bought houses, did all the things he never did, it's pretty sad cause u got the opportunity to live life on a whole other level & instead u sit on ur couch ur mom can still give u a percentage of that money, I know my mom wouldve done that for me so that I invest it
