Links are so important. ANY talk about this is important, but links really do help. Even if just a couple hundred people donated $1 to each, now imagine the people donating $5, $20, etc...every person helps.

She's sweet and we never know what she is doing behind the scenes, but we can almost always guarantee it's something to help people :flutter:

Awesome and by doing this, she is bringing attention to reputable charities to donate to. Cheers to her with solidarity to POC!

She's good at following the herd.

Really? What herd? Cause she's been very vocal about her political stand since the day she debuted. Not a lot of people are risking their careers for their political beliefs back then. So what herd?

I can’t wait for y’all to drag people who are against this scum next time another thread about him pops up. Imagine being a “little monster” and literally shaming this woman even tho you know damn well she always stands for human rights. Disgusting.

I really like that she told everyone to research the organizations.  I'm not speaking of any specific organization, but it's so important that people know where their money is going and don't donate just because a celebrity told them to. I love her message.

But who will help people who have their property destroyed (robbed shops etc) bc of the protest? :saladga:

They are the most affected. :triggered:

Insurance companies. Get the f*ck out.

I will paraphrase an answer from a kid from the family who owned a restaurant that burned down across the street from the burned down police precinct in Minneapolis:

At first I was angry because this was my families life/livelihood. But I got over it because we can rebuild. It will be tough and may take awhile but George Floyd can't get his life back. His family can't get him back. We can rebuild a building.

@Kapi09 Have some perspective: you shouldn't have more sympathy for lost property then a lost life. Buildings can be rebuilt. Can you bring Gianna her father back?

Can you give the Taylor's back their daughter or the Martin's back their son?

And so on and so on and so on and ...

Did she even donate?

So you come into a thread appreciating what Gaga said and her support and you don’t even take the time to READ what she said and make this really bad comment? Bye felicia

THIS! Ive been hesitate about donating because I want it to be used effectively.I keep seeing random gofundmes and groups I've never heard of. Who are these ppl?! And who's holding them accountable?

I always know when Gaga's silent, she's working on something.

I am so grateful she used her time and resources to collect and disseminate these verifiable and effective resources.

As one of the disapprovers of her silence. I am happy that she used her platform.
