It’s so funny to see people call Dua or Khalid or even BILLIE industry plants when people irl genuinely stream them yet Ava is getting all this playlist love from curators and who is even streaming?

WE ARE IN DANGER of leaving the top 10. Stream ROM 10 times on Apple Music, Spotify and Youtube each.

I'm honestly disappointed.. :saladga: i hope it'll stay inside top10

I mean this is the harshest drop. After that it can stabilize in the top 10.

But honestly LMs have been very lazy recently. They took it for granted. Spotify's discount has been extremely low which means most streams are probably from the GP.

Guys be realistic. Is there any pop collab released this year that’s bigger than ROM? I don’t think so. Also only two months are left for the deadline to end and we will only get bigger now.

The thing is we can’t think in ROM just as a collab, we still have plenty of time to get other new releases until the deadline.

The excuse for Ava being an industry plant is just pretty bad. She tried for years to break through but has just found success in the last 2 years. Getting big out of nowhere is a lot more suspicious. Dua tried it several times as well though and she fought hard for her place in popular culture so I wouldn't accuse her of being an industry plant. Besides there are much more egregious and more obvious industry plants than these four.

AJR is probably the worst recent offender. LMFAO as an older example.

I don’t think Ava is an industry plant. I don’t even think they exist because isn’t every mainstream artist an industry plant.

I was referring more to successful artists getting slack for being high on playlists, like Dua, but she’s proven she’s huge on streaming.

It seems like playlist curators just really like Ava. But it doesn’t seem to be sticking.

If you want to see industry plants look at the country scene. Literally every second artist there is planted, they have two or three hits and dissappear afterward. :madge:

The pop scene is pretty organic in comparison.
