Don't forget ringtone sales. Even before the digital era truly started, ringtone downloads were a part of the Hot 100 I remember how SPAMMED ringtone commercials were on TV, a music consumption format that is TRULY dead now.

I just realized that 10 albums in the top 12 albums this week are predicted to sell less than 1000 pure album sales.

Sales are 200% dead. And considering how 'rap/urban' albums are dominating streaming wise, its safe to assume the top 10 will be 80% / 90% dominated by 'rap/urban' artists for years to come if there are no changes to the top 200 formula.

Or they should split the chart, but that won’t happen. Make a Pop 200 and a Urban 200 out of it

Or make a system based on revenue. It seems odd that a vinyl album , that is probably 30$ or more, is worth the same as an 'album unit' made of non-premium streams for example.

Yes, I absolutely agree on the revenue chart. I think Germany’s official chart is based on that if I’m not mistaken.

106.1 KISS FM Seattle played ROM 9 times yesterday before the countdown show thing started at 7PM (PST) 

But they’ve only played it once so far today and it’s about to be 10:20AM.
