Haha, I combined my questions. SL was in regards to the YE Hot 100 only.  I was hoping ROM/Chromatica could be predicted based on other major releases' trajectories, but I get if it is still too soon.

Her presence on the IFPI year-end lists is majorly underrated. TF/M, BTW, ARTPOP, and ASIB (x2) for albums + 2 singles from TF, 2 singles from TFM, 1 single from BTW, and 1 single from ASIB. I imagine if Million Reasons had been released in Jan 2017, it may have had a shot at the lower end of the list due to the SB boost. Would love to see ROM and Chromatica on there.

Also, I love that she recorded MVs pre-Covid, but girl -- why was Sour Candy not? Knowing how important YT streams would be to its success and potential complications with scheduling, etc., that should've been done right after it made the final tracklist. It isn't a strong enough song or collab in the anglosphere to carry an album beyond 1-2 weeks with no MV, so I expect to see its #s fall. I hope there are no meltdowns if/when. It'd be great if she gets an opportunity to release Free Woman / Babylon MV with some promo / performance (both have a lot of marketing potential; I could see them attached to a product, fashion campaign, etc.).

I'm looking forward to it, too. For me, the real era is when there are at least some live performances, even a little, given the current situation... So far, it feels like the era hasn't even begun. We hope that all the most interesting things are waiting for us ahead.

Well the positions are even better than ASIB so it's still a major win. Chromatica truly is her biggest solo studio album since Born This Way

Mass streaming doesn't do sh*t, the German charts have a 10 play cut off like the UK ones and only the top 12 songs of the albums count for SPS numbers.

The problem is really that Gaga hasn't sustained enough of a fanbase in Germany (due to her lack of promo & attention here) that #1 debuts for albums are nearly impossible because she lacks the pure sales

Maybe my standards are a bit low in terms of what a huge hit is but I’m thrilled at how Rain on Me is doing. Hasn’t left the top 5 on Spotify since release, beginning to smash on radio, iTunes #1 basically for nearly three weeks now. This track is doing especially well in Europe which is an area she really lacked on her last solo record. Do I wish the album itself was a bit more stable on streaming? Sure, but very few 00’s acts are able to pull the Spotify numbers this album pulls like every single day. It hasn’t even been two weeks and nearly every song is above 10m streams. Some are on their way to 15m like- she’s the #2 female artist on Spotify since May 30th. Two years ago the notions of Gaga pulling these numbers would’ve been laughable.
