Well.. no, because all those sales are fan-driven.

However, my opinion ain't valid at all: 

I'm a twink that listens to Gaga, Madonna, Charli XCX, Kim Petras, Slayyyter, Sophie & co. that cannot enjoy a single ballad (except a few, like Speechless), because I always want energetic music. So of course I erased Joanne from my mind (I did like A-Yo and DIC at the time) and it felt like 6 years since a new Gaga album. 

Totally not similar in comparison with the GP

but she said it herself, that she tweeted about "forgetting it" so it would have the opposite effect and people would be forced to talk about ARTPOP aka forced to remember it.

I get you, Norman ****ing Rockwell is one of my favorite albums ever. But I tried to listen to it after listening to Chromatica all week and I literally couldn’t  it feels very slow and anticlimactic at the moment. If you like that type of music, it’s understandable you don’t like Joanne.

We have Chromatica now. Joanne and ARTPOP stans have been brought together through electronic music. This is ARTPOP era with music and bling! 4 week top 10 here she goeessssss

I don’t wanna be negative this early on but I’m looking at The Weeknd’s Grammy wins/nominations and he hasn’t won any general field category  I feel like given his slay age and taking this into consideration, the academy might favor him this time around.

I think he has a bigger chance for ROTY/SOTY and Gaga for AOTY

I'd be completely fine with those results
