These records are so pointless. Ultimately Rihanna is the biggest digital queen of this century.

Only if you combine singles and album certifications. If you were to treat albums as 10 individual tracks, she lags her peers by quite a lot.

Females with most #1 albums on the Billboard 200

1. Barbra Streisand (11)
2. Madonna (9)
3. Janet Jackson (7)
4-7. Mariah Carey, Britney Spears, Beyoncé, Taylor Swift (6 each)
8-10. Céline Dion, Alicia Keys, Lady Gaga (5 each)

We could've tied Janet Jackson if Susan Boyle didn't block The Fame for like two months :messga:

Other female artists in case you wanna know:

Whitney Houston, Mary J. Blige (4 each)

Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, Carole King, P!nk (3 each).

The fact I just found out Cher has none :interestinga:

Miley overall has 6, but Billboard didn't credit her the albums released as Hannah Montana.

The Fame deserved #1 and then sales split for the reissue as well ugh. :( That will always haunt me :(

I wouldn't call having #1 albums in the US "pointless" for an artist whose main market is that one. She was the queen of single sales, that's unquestionable, but she was definitely not the queen of album sales.

She always had a wrong timing for release. She used to release during Christmas season and always got blocked by a random rock alternative band doing more numbers than her.

Nah she could never really move albums. People were just not interested in her work other than the singles. This is also why her tour numbers are pretty meh for a pop girl with so many hits.

Is it on power rotation?

Apple Music UK:

Rain On Me #2 (=)

Stupid Love #28 (-4)

Sour Candy #31 (-1)

Alice #41 (-5)

Free Woman #45 (-2)

911 #47 (-2)

4 songs top 50 is good still, but still decreasing. I am hoping the smaller drops for SC/911/FW is a sign they're ever so slowly stabilising but :enigma:

No PR is every hour, however, if it continues getting a spin once every 2 hours that would be sub-power.

Z100 also supported SL in its first 3 weeks until 1 Thursday they suddenly went down to 4 spins. Let's hope the callouts are much better so ROM gets PR on its 4th week instead of getting slowly dropped

All her albums sold a decent 1.2-1.5m pure sales in US and 3-5m WW. Her first week numbers were always between 180k-220k. Her timing was wrong. Many artists went #1 with less numbers than her

Rolling stones numbers are kinda making me nervous.. Just 105k pure sales after 5 days... are we even crossing 180k SPS :bradley:

They reported ROM’s sales around 50k when it was 72k in reality. What does that tell you?
