Second degree murder is generally defined as intentional murder that lacks premeditation, is intended to only cause bodily harm, and demonstrates an extreme indifference to human life. IT SHOULD BE FIRST DEGREE

Not sure why it took this much longer The fact our incompetent president and justice system was okay with deploying the military and harming their own citizens because they’re protesting, instead of simply charging and convicting the four officers says a LOT about this country. If he is proven innocent of first degree, they would not even be able to lessen the charge. That’s true. I’m okay with it being a 2nd degree, but this situation is not over yet. Arturo 40,746
Good. This is just the start. Keep fighting and spreading awareness for people whose murderers have faced no serious repercussions like Breonna Taylor or Sandra Bland’s. Not to mention we’re still calling for at the very least police REFORM. Demilitarize them. Change their methods of “crowd dispersal” because they’re not just dispersing crowds they’re fracturing people’s faces with rubber bullets.

Simply 2nd degree is an unplanned, intentional killing; or a death caused by a reckless disregard for human life.

Thank you.. He will definitely be proven guilty... I don t think they can prove the premeditation so they did the right choice.. However the brutality of this murder deserves 100 years in prison
