Chromatica is still very enjoyable and is very good, but sadly I think it's lyrics (incredible) outweigh its instrumentation and production (fine). I feel this way the most about Fun Tonight and 1000 Doves. The piano demo of 1000 Doves proved to me that the lyrical and melodic content of it is incredible, and that I also personally feel it doesn't fit as a dance track. I don't know how that demo that leaked turned into this song. I don't hate it but the demo sounded somehow darker and more mature, the version we got on the album sounds like something a teenage girl would listen to. But the lyrics are amazing From Joanne, Hey Girl. I LOVE IT, anyway, but I wish it sounded differently. From ARTPOP, I'll go with Swine, because its lyrics are amazing but it doesn't go as hard as I was expecting from what we first heard on the iTunes Fest, and I wanted her to make those weird piggy noises on the album version.
