The song should be (in this era) Babylon. The video obviously Jonas Akerlund, by way of a Tarantino spoof. The storyline should be very "final boss" in a movie or video game. Gaga crashes the pwagon through some castle gates and into a water fountain. She spends majority of the video in bright colours throwing people out of windows as she climbs to the top of the castle. To introduce Madonna, she is wearing a Cape and falls backwards, the camera pans over to a throne where a tea cup is placed on a table next to her - the teacup from Paparazzi- and the voice "that seems... reductive". Madonna stands up and is in a leather catsuit, she whips out 2 swords and goes to battle. Gaga and Madonna have an epic - but stupid - sword fight. In a trueman show twist, Gaga and madonna miss a sword strike and cut the wall.. and sky. What? They rip away what they thought was a wall and its journalists and paps. Gaga and Madge kill them in the style of kill bill and then have a blood stained gospel choir moment in front of the very damaged castle to finish. The symbolism at the end of Telephone MV, referencing/alteration from popular scenes from popular and critically acclaimed Lesbian romance/Crime movies, Thelma & Louise, where they hold hands and drive into the sunset, (the movie ending following this scene is bleaker tho), means that Gaga and Yoncé's characters in the MV were in ride or die kind of relationship just like T&L. Just imagine this: She and Honey Bee (Beyonce) have had to split up because the FBI are on their trail. Gaga is undercover in some city and she's dealing with the trauma and stress of the choices she's made in life. Wondering how she managed to end up alone ("my biggest is me") and she's reliant on her antipsychotics. To keep the beyhive on board we can have Gaga look at some old polaroids of Gaga and Beyonce together (telephone vid) in this video. Maybe even "new" ones if Bey won't do a whole song.
