When did he even say "shoot unarmed people", he literally said SOMEONE COMING AT THEM WITH A KNIFE.

Are you people deaf? Dumb? Or you want cops to just stand there and get stabbed?

Actual quote: "

GGD title and tweet:  "We should train cops to shoot unarmed people in the leg..."

@PartySick Can we atleast change the title instead of this clickbait bs?

Yeah I heard that about the UK! seems like its working, but I cant imagine how it would work? what if someone has a gun and politice doesnt? how will the police stop the man with a gun?

People don't have guns in the UK so it's rare they would encounter someone with a gun.

That he is saying that cops being attacked with a knife should at least try to avoid killing the person?

That what I put in the title is what he exactly said?

Your title implies he only referred to unarmed people, and thats a lie. He is talking about attackers, someone actively putting the cop's life at risk, with unarmed, he meant "no firearm".

Why do i even have to explain this? Its really not that hard to understand.

@PartySick Can we atleast change the title instead of this clickbait bs? And maybe add that this speech was to announce that one of hist first 100 days plan is to make a cop oversight comittee to bring the change everyone is asking for?

I'll feature your post. Any title won't be able to convey proper context but at least that'll help provide some.

I do have to ask what he means by "an unarmed person with a knife" :toofunny:

Whimsical bitch

SKANK

Trump this week: Tweets about literally murdering his own citizens, hides in a bunker, stokes racial tensions by tweeting racist dog whistles, tells governors they must arrest more protesters, uses tear gas to disperse a crowd of peaceful protesters so that he can have a photo op, holds a press conference threatening to mobilize the military against protesters, calls George Floyd's brother but doesn't let him speak.

Biden this week: Goes out to a protest and meets activists, attends a meeting of African American community leaders, vows that in the first 100 days in office he will address "the 400 years of systematic racism which is the original sin of our country that still stains our nation,"  condemns Trump's tweets glorifying violence, calls George Floyd's brother and actually listens to him with an empathetic ear...but fumbles attempting to explain that if police must use force it shouldn't be deadly force.

GGD: By God! These men are the same! :derpga:

No firearms.

If someone is pointing a gun at a cop, the cop would be in the right to shoot back, right?

If someone has a knife and runs towards the cop, standard procedure would be for the cop to just shoot the person, Biden is only proposing that in those especific cases, the cops should try to shoot the person in the leg instead of the chest.

No he won't. He's speaking in convenient platitudes like the true limousine liberal he is. While Trump severely emboldened racists in this country w/ his rhetoric, Biden exasperated systemic racism on a policy-level perhaps more than anyone in the past 26 years. Most Americans overlook this because we are generally ignorant of policy and a black man chose him as VP... so he can't possibly be racist, right?

While I do believe Biden is undoubtedly the better choice for black progress, let's not allow him to get away scot-free simply because Trump is a maniac. Right now, Biden feels entitled to the black and progressive vote, which not only hurts Democrats' chances of winning but decreases the likelihood of him enacting real meaningful change if elected. His stubborn entitlement has placed us in a lose-lose scenario.

Pressure him!
