I'm not siding any political party, just simply pointing towards solutions. Apart from purging corrupt cops who abuse their power, there needs to be revisions in standard procedures and rules of engagement so that cops can be held accountable and perform their jobs in a reliable manner. What Biden said is reasonable, to not take away lives but to injure offenders to the extent that they can be stopped.

In the UK our police don't carry guns, I've never seen a gun in my life and they are still able to do their job.

Like everywhere else in the world, 0.5% of the population can actually lay hand on a illegal gun instead of everyone having a gun. Suprisingly, people are willing to take that chance

It always depends on the spin the media/PR gives you. It could also very well give her more credibility because she has an inside perspective into the police structures. Kamala always striked me as the "hard but fair"-type and that also applies to being hard to your own colleagues if they f*ck up

Using force to subdue violent people does not mean they should be able to shoot unarmed civilians

There are major arteries running through your legs - if you're shot and your femoral artery is ruptured, you can bleed out, and very quickly... And it's really not that hard to miss

You dont have to be a genius to understand the point he is trying to make and I think it is standard practice around the world. In some situations, u first have to shot in the air and then aim for a non deadly zone. 

Someone can still be unarmed and dangerous and if police will shot, maybe it is better to do it in the leg.
