The hard thing is that some take their time investigating to make sure they have the proof they need in order to find someone guilty of their actions. We've seen how it seems almost impossible to get some of the racist as$holes sent to jail. The video probably wasn't going to be enough, even if to the general public it's enough. Other evidence needed to be gathered from other cases as examples. Then the charge had to be decided. Getting this man found guilty of First Degree Murder was probably too hard in their eyes. Even if it's the correct term for him. And his friends need to be charged with accessory. But unfortunately it's not that simple. And things do need to change. Quite honestly if attacking the citizens is this simple, if police can "simply" kill someone just because they want to, they can damn well find a way to make it simple.
